With effect from Bhadra 10, 2083 BS, importers who wish to clear goods through the Rasuwagadhi Customs Office shall have the option to use an alternative customs checkpoint (भन्सार नाका).
For goods currently in transit, importers must contact the customs office specified in the relevant invoice to obtain necessary information and proceed with clearance at the changed customs point.
Upon establishing the new customs point, goods may be formally declared at the changed customs point. All applicable procedures and declarations must be completed at the revised location.
This arrangement is applicable including for Draft T.T. (Telegraphic Transfer) and related payment documents. All relevant customs procedures remain in force.
No approval or recommendation from any other government body or authority is required to effect a change of customs point.
